Only pixels with an alpha or transparecny greater than 50% will be included in the spot channel.
Can registration marks be added to the gang sheets for print and cut operations?
Yes, registration marks can be added to the top and bottom of each gang sheet. You can choose 1 of the following 2 options for placement: Top/Left, Bottom/Right or Top/Right, Bottom/Left. Registration marks are roughly 1/4" tall and are factored in to the placement and positioning of images on the gang sheet.
For cut operations, while we don't currently have support for downloading a true cut file with vector cut lines, we do offer the ability to download a black silhouette version of the image. This image can easily be loaded into LightBurn, Adobe Illustrator, or other software to vectorize the image. If you have LightBurn, we recommend using it as it makes creating your cut file really easy.
LightBurn
  1. Import (Ctrl+I) the downloaded silhouette image and rotate, position the image as needed.
  2. Under the 'Tools' menu item, select 'Trace Image' (Alt+T) then click 'OK'.
  3. Delete the original silhouette image.
  4. Ungroup the traced image by clicking 'Ungroup' (Ctrl+U) under the 'Arrange' menu item. This will allow the registration marks to selected for cut/print operations.
  5. Optional Step: Offset the cut lines by clicking 'Offset Shapes' (Alt+O) under the 'Tools' menu item to add padding between the print and where the cut is made.
  6. Continue with LightBurn's Print & Cut features underneath the 'Laser Tools' menu item. We suggest to always select 'Align Outputs to Target' for best results.
